While Roe v Wade fueled the Christian right’s ‘successful efforts’ to mobilize and enmesh themselves in Republican electoral politics, that approach has resulted in a ‘shrinking minority’ led by white evangelical Protestants exercising electoral power ‘disproportionate’ to their numbers.”
